Being appointed as a judge of 2018 Asia Innovation Show on 28 April 2018 at Paragon Mall, Penang, Dr Mah Boon Yih would like to appreciate and congratulate Dr Mohd Subri Tahir and his team from UiTM Penang Branch for making this event a great success. Below is another tip he would like to share to the fellow contestants based on his judging experience:
Another key success to stand out from the crowd besides the wow factor of your invention/innovation is your presenting and pitching skills. I have found this as the most common problem faced by the presenters who need to improve their English to communicate effectively; it's very important to attract the judge' attention on the projects' needs and values within the shortest time available. It's not always a good sign if the judge asking questions more frequent than presenting your ideas.
